Ecclesiastes 3:11

¹¹ He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet^[a] no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.

Eternity is beyond our comprehension because we are prisoners of time. Yet we have a yearning in our heart to return to eternity. This means that we need a Savior who is not limited by time and lives beyond those limits. Isaiah referred to Him as “The Everlasting Father!”
